Are Pentavite products Halal or Kosher?
ANSWER
Pentavite products are not Halal certified, but no porcine ingredients are used in the manufacture of Pentavite products.
Pentavite products that are not vegetarian:
- Daily Multivitamin Gummies and Daily Immune Support Gummies contain bovine gelatin
- Multivitamin Liquid for Infants and Multivitamin + Iron Liquid Kids (Gold) contain fish gelatin
- The vitamin D used in Pentavite formulas is sourced from lanolin (sheep’s wool grease).
No alcohol was added during the manufacturing process. However, ethanol may be present in very low amount (less than 3% v/v) from the vitamin raw materials in the multivitamin products.
