Multivitamin chewable tablets appear to have dark spots (upon opening)
Answer:
The actives within the tablet react to the environmental storage conditions, particularly to heat and humidity, resulting in slight colour changes. This does not impact on the quality of the product nor lead to issues with (microbial) contamination. Please be advised to keep the lid of jar tightly closed to prevent moisture entering the jar after opening.
The discolouration can also occur due to oxidation of some of the ingredients inside the tablets. Once exposed to air, moisture and light it will start to oxidise and discolour.
For this product it is important for it to be consumed within 3 months.
